St Edmund’s Church History Group is a small body of volunteers from the parish who meet occasionally to ensure that the history and heritage of our Church is maintained.

Their first main achievement was the publication of a booklet entitled, The Present from Our Past. Since then the group has undertaken further research and published a fuller account of our parish’s history in this online resource.

St Edmund’s Catholic Parish Chronicle can be read from start to finish, allowing the reader to absorb the history from Jesuit times until the present day. Alternatively, you might wish to dip in and out of certain subjects and sections, depending upon your interests.
